The Burbank Airport (now known as The Bob Hope Airport) added a large capacity parking area around the main terminal, and ten large illuminated parking directional units around the perimeter to direct traffic. These units were double sided and fabricated with a steel structural frame covered with 1/4″ aluminum cladding to provide a finished architectural effect. The Mercury Vapor lighting was an integral part of the structure and no electrical components were exposed to detract from the design. All components were fabricated and installed by Vomar Products.
